An official blog post from Senior Vice President for PlayStation Network Eric Lempel stated that the PlayStation Now service is now going to be making its jump to the Windows PC. It will be made available in a number of parts of Europe and land on North America afterwards.
Games like "God of War," "Ratchet & Clank," "Uncharted," "The Last of Us," and more will now be available for PC gamers once the PS Now app is completely rolled out on the countries specified in the announcement.
Sony is also introducing a new device called the DualShock 4 USB Wireless Adaptor. This will be launched early September and will be at a price point of $24.99 - $29.99. As the name suggests, it will allow DS4 controllers to be connected to PC and Mac wirelessly.
The DualShock 4 USB Wireless Adaptor will be a perfect match for the PS Now on Windows PC as well as for PS4 Remote Play.
The recommended specs for PS Now service on PC is as follows:
Windows 7 (SP1), 8.1 or 10
3.5 GHz Intel Core i3 or 3.8 GHz AMD A10 or faster
300 MB or more; 2 GB or more of RAM

The post also stated that at least 5mbps of Internet Connection is needed to take full advantage of the PS Now service on the PC. It is also recommended that the connection is wired. Sony will announce the actual release date for the service within a few days.
From here onwards, the need for emulators, especially for the PS3, can now be bypassed. Emulators for PS2 and PS1 have been released in the past and were praised for performing better than their actual console counterparts. However, the PS3 emulator's development had been really slow.
