iPad Air 3 Rumors: Apple Tablet To Be Budget-Friendly With Bluetooth 4.2 And Lightning Ports?
Dheeraj RAmidst the release date rumors that the iPad Air 3 will be released in the first quarter of 2017, reports hinted that the new Apple tablet is expected to be a low budget device with excellent specs like high-resolution display, updated Bluetooth, and Lightning ports.
The Reporter Times stated that the Cupertino-based technology giant is expected to lower the prices of the third installment of the iPad Air 3, becoming Apple's main budget-friendly options. Also, rumors hinted that Apple might release the device with a lower price tag because of the low sales in the tablet market.
To add on to the speculations, the upcoming iPad Air 3 will reportedly be priced in the range of $390 to $590. On the other hand, it is stated that if the release date is postponed to the end of the next year, then the cost of the tablet might be further reduced.
Moving on to the rumored specs of the tablet, it is hinted that the iPad Air 3 will sport a 9.7-icnh screen with 2048 × 1536 pixel resolution display panel. The new tablet is expected to be sleeker and more durable as compared to the earlier installment, with additional specs like the fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 4.2, and Lightning ports.
When it comes to the performance-related specs, the new Apple tablet might run on the upgraded A9 chipset, which is expected to provide the users with faster device performance and power efficiency. It is also rumored to sport a 4 GB RAM with three internal storage options of 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB.
Furthermore, the latest Apple device might consist of a 12-megapixel camera on board, which will be higher compared to the iPad Air 2 and the iPad Pro's 8-megapixel snapper.
