Ubisoft is not going to end this year without releasing any "Assassin's Creed" related games as the publisher has recently announced the release of "Assassin's Creed: Ezio Collection." Here's what you need to know about the upcoming title.

What Exactly Is "Assassin's Creed: Ezio Collection"?

"Assassin's Creed: Ezio Collection," as the title states, is a remastered collection of all "Assassin's Creed" games featuring the one of the series' most popular lead characters, Ezio Auditore da Firenze.

Ubisoft recalls the time when they decided to change the lead role from Altaïr to Ezio in the Ubi blog.

"We were all thinking, 'what is wrong with us!?'" Aymar Azaizia, head of content for the "Assassin's Creed" brand, said "We'd just created an amazing hero, Altaïr, that everyone loved, and we are taking the risk to get rid of him for a new guy."

Thankfully the risk paid off, as Ezio is one of the franchise's most loved characters, alongside Altaïr.

What Does It Include?

"Assassin's Creed: Ezio Collection" will include three of the franchise's best titles. "Assassin's Creed II," "Assassin's Creed Brotherhood," and "Assassin's Creed Reveleations." The bundle will also include all single-player expansions.

The multiplayer features of both "Brotherhood" and "Revelations," however, will not be included, with the remastered titles focusing solely on Ezio's journey.

The collection will also include two short films, "Assassin's Creed Embers" and the three-part film "Assassin's Creed Lineage," which provides a deeper look into Ezio's intriguing backstory.

When Is It Coming Out?

"Assassin's Creed: Ezio Collection" will be released on Xbox One and PS4 on Nov. 15. Interestingly, Ubisoft decided to release the remaster on the same day as its supposed "Assassin's Creed" replacement this year, "Watch Dogs 2."

"Assassin's Creed: Ezio Collection" should keep the fans busy until the next "Assassin's Creed" game arrives next year, which is rumored to be set in Ancient Egypt. Its movie counter-part is also scheduled to be out this December.
