Unlike the first game, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will have more in-depth customization, with one of the highlights being the character creation part.

With the the closed beta becoming available, a few select of people have already gotten a glimpse of what "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will be, and fans could be excited for the open beta period coming on October 14.

One of the game's strong point, just like the previous one, is still the character customization feature. Folks from Siliconera were lucky enough to try out the character creation. This feature feels somewhat familiar and contrary to what have been speculated, the closed beta shows five types of races that follows:

Earthing: Long story short, earthlings are best for beginners because this race automatically regenerates Ki and their attack power increases once the Ki gauge is filled up. Male characters have stronger Super Strike Attacks and female ones have better Ki Blast Super Attacks.

Frieza Race: This race is well-suited for advanced players who prefer speed with Stamina increasing while attacking. However, this race slightly suffers from low health and movement speed is decreased while the health drops.

Majin: Majin race is the best in terms of defense. This gets even higher if their stamina is at max. Stamina recovery is slow though. Male ones have higher health and defense, while female ons have shorter breaks and smaller health amount.

Namekian: This is the best race for those who prefer usage of stamina as it refills pretty quick. Their health also regenerates when it gets low.

Saiyan: A fan-favorite race. Saiyans have high attack rating and rises even higher as their health drops lower. Their stats increase when they faint in battle and get revived afterwards.

Tailoring the looks of the character to be created is still the same with the original game, but this time, more options are presented like varying hairstyles, colors, clothes and finer details

Be sure to download the open beta once it releases to take advantage whichever reward Bandai Namco will be giving to participating players.
