The latest speculations about the upcoming OnePlus 4 device hinted that it will sport many excellent specs mainly in terms of display, Snapdragon chipset, and the latest version of its Android-like OS.

Tech Times reported that the fourth installment of the upcoming OnePlus flagship series will sport a powerful Snapdragon 830 processor and an Adreno 620 GPU. It is rumored that the smartphone might also feature 8 GB RAM and an internal storage option of up to 128 GB. The OnePlus 4's new processor is expected to deliver its users with increased performance and better battery life with a capacity of up to 4,200 mAh.

The new device might incorporate the curved-edged display screen in order to catch up with the latest trend in the smartphone industry. Also, the OnePlus 4 is rumored to be launched with a 5.5-inch screen and 2K display panel, which will be around 2,560 x 1,440 pixels resolution. It is also rumored that the device might feature an LCD panel instead of the Optic OLED display unit.

Aside from its performance-related and display specs, rumors hinted that the OnePlus 4 will run on the upcoming OxygenOS, which is touted to be based on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and thus, provide the users with an excellent collaborative interface.

Furthermore, rumors suggested that the OnePlus 4 might sport a 24-megapixel primary and an 8-megapixel secondary camera onboard. Lastly, it is expected that the OnePlus 4 will be priced for around $400 and thus provide a tough competition to other smartphones in the same range.

As far as the release date of the device is concerned, rumors suggested that the OnePlus 4 device might be launched in July 2017. However, there is still no official word on the specs or the release date of the device.
