The latest "NBA 2K17" 1.06 patch is now officially out and it fixes a couple of things from the game that provides vast improvements over the AI as well as some buggy dribbling animations getting addressed.

Just recently, Gameinformer posted an update regarding the 1.06 patch for "NBA 2K17" and this is supposed to cover everything for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms. This patch addresses a huge number of issues in various game modes.

One of the biggest changes, as stated by Gameplay director Mike Wang, are the dribbling animations.

"Some moves were 'cheating the ball bounce,' allowing you to chain into moves earlier than you were supposed to, also allowing for rapid changes in momentum. Transitions should be more realistic now and less twitchy."

Changes also include Hornets having a correct court projection during pre-game presentation. There's also a fix for the indefinite simulating screen that usually happens with myPLAYER after retiring from the 20-year myCAREER.

There's also a fix addressed to myGM and myLEAGUE as well as a number of fixes on myTEAM that has a number of minor and major bugs, though not necessarily game-breaking.

As for the gameplay, pass icons will now be appearing when needed. This eliminates the bug about the feature being absent sometimes, especially with the 4K mode on the PlayStation 4 Pro,

CPUs are now faster to get into offensive sets and run plays, making sure that challenge will be provided as well as better control of the entire team during matches.

There has been some updates to the dribbling triggers as it sometimes queues up the wrong animation when attempting to perform a size-up escape and some combo moves.
