Nintendo Switch Games To Watch Out For Aside From 'Zelda'; 'Project Sonic,' 'Just Dance,' More Releases
C. de LacyThe Nintendo Switch is scheduled to be released next year around March. While the hype train is going crazy about its hybrid nature, it will still boil down to the games and here are some games that will warrant the need to get a Switch later next year aside from "Zelda" titles.
The Nintendo brand has always been about its first party titles and seeing how "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild" will play, the Nintendo Switch has some huge potential of maintaining a steady grip of its fans and possibly, even entice newcomers.
However, the Nintendo Switch isn't just about its new games. Kotaku reported just recently that there will be some extent of support for GameCube games and this will include the classics like "Super Smash Bros. Melee" and "Luigi's Mansion" through the Virtual Cnsole.
There's a good chance that there will be an even bigger library of GameCube titles to be added later, but that's for another day to look forward to.
At the moment, there aren't a lot of games announced for the Nintendo Switch and even "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" managed to be shown on the consoles first trailer, which just ended up getting denied later.
Still, Ubisoft made a promise to support the console as the publisher will be working closely with Nintendo to bring out the games tailored for pretty much every type of gamer as emphasized by Ubisoft exec in an interview with Polygon.
At the moment, we have "Just Dance 2017" in waiting, which is scheduled for a 2017 release. There's also a mystery "Pokémon" game that Nintendo hasn't revealed yet and it is certainly something to look forward to on top of the usual console titles like "Super Mario."
Lastly, there's also "Project Sonic 2017," though there really isn't much information on it yet and is expected to be surfacing somewhere around the fourth quarter of 2017.
