Beta Version Of Android 7.0 Nougat already available for Samsung Devices
JPIn November, Samsung has introduced its Galaxy Beta Program. Today, the South Korea based Tech giant is closer than ever before in finally integrating the Android Nougat 7.0 Update to its flagship smartphones.
The beta release of the Android Nougat 7.0 for Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge is a pleasant news for Samsung users as it is an indication that the update will soon be fully integrated in the Samsung smartphones. The Android Nougat 7.0 beta release is the 4th major beta roll-out in Samsung's Galaxy Beta Program.
Moths before the initial beta release of the Nougat 7.0 in Samsung devices, T-mobile had already reported that the S7 and S7 edge will be the first units from Samsung to integrate the Nougat update. The Nougat update offers tweaked and new functionality for Samsung and also added a number of bug improvements.
The update will also allow users to run two apps side by side with its new multi window option. The data saver mode introduced in the Nougat 7.0 is also an excellent addition as it will help reduce the data usage of apps.
This update comes as a relief for Samsung users as it was earlier reported that Sony had already introduced the Google Android 7.0 Nougat update to its Xperia XZ and Xperia X Performance and is soon rolling out the update to its other smartphones.
Smartphones that was released November this year, including the Huawei Mate 9 and LG V20, already have the Nougat 7.0 update.
The Nougat 7.0 update for Samsung devices was reportedly delayed by the exploding Note 7 fiasco that Samsung had to address late this year. Added test were done for the Nougat 7.0 update to ensure functionality and to reduce risks so as not to repeat the tech giant's carelessness in its Note 7 release.
After the initial release of the Google Android Nougat 7.0 to S7 and S7 edge, the Note 5, S6 and S6 edge Samsung devices will soon follow suit.
