iOS 10 Hidden Features: How To Unlock Secret Features

Apple may always inform its users about any updates they have but they rarely disclose all of its features, just like those from iOS 10. There are varieties of add-ons to try such as Siri working with other apps, Messages having its own App Store, a button clearing all notifications at the same time, and more. Aside from these, iOS 10 has a lot more to offer.

Built-in Image Search for Messages. GIF keyboard apps add thrills in messaging, however, these are downloaded separately, which means consuming more of iPhone's precious space. However, with iOS 10 update, searching moving images can be done directly in the messaging app by simply tapping on the App Store icon, choosing images page, and entering the keyword of the desired image or selecting one from the category list.

Managing Music Storage, Automatically! iOS 10 has gone beyond entertainment as it also helps in saving the space of the user's Apple devices such as the iPhone or iPad. With this update, users can automatically manage downloaded music by simply going to Settings > Music > Downloads. From this, users can either manage songs manually or, set the preferred storage amount. In case the user needs extra space, iOS will automatically assess and remove rarely played songs. (via CNet)

New Look for Threaded Convos. With the recent updates, threaded conversations are possible with messaging but the best part is iOS 10 has given it a new look. Reading a different message is more convenient as users don't need to jump in and out of the thread. This feature is already a default however, it can be set by going to Settings > Mail > Threading. By doing this, users can place the messages in the order that they prefer.

Disabling iMessage Receipts. It's kind of annoying and embarrassing to let someone know that you've read his/her message. Fortunately, with iOS 10, you can turn this off by clicking the "I" found in the upper part and checking off the "Send Read Receipts." However, this is not applicable for iMessage or SMS threads.
