"Death Stranding" is probably one of the most anticipated games of 2017. But, for creator Hideo Kojima, there is something else he is also looking forward to seeing.

According to GameSpot, Kojima revealed that among the games that have been announced for next year, he is looking forward to "Red Dead Redemption 2." "Looking ahead, for games, my pick would have to be Red Dead Redemption 2," he said. It appears that he has been a fan of Rockstar Games for quite some time now. In fact, he revealed in 2013 that "Grand Theft Auto V" made him "depressed," since it was so impressive that he thought his "Metal Gear Solid V" won't make the same impact.

"Red Dead Redemption 2" will come out in the fall of 2017. Rockstar already released a teaser but the developers are yet to share more gameplay details.

Apart from his most anticipated game, Hideo Kojima also shared his most anticipated movie for 2017. According to GameIndustry, he is looking forward to "Blade Runner 2049."

He and his team are now a bit busy with "Death Stranding." It has been getting a lot of buzz lately as it stars "The Walking Dead" actor Norman Reedus as the main protagonist. A teaser has been released showing Reedus' character washed up naked along with dead whales and fish by the shore. Another teaser came out a little later, this time starring "Doctor Strange" star Mads Mikkelsen. Apparently, Mikkelsen will be also be playing the main antagonist. "Death Stranding" is still in production and is tentatively set to be released before 2019.

Other big shots in game and technology have also shared their most anticipated games for 2017. Robin Hunicke, co-founder of Funomena, has revealed that she is waiting for the release of "Gorogoa." Boss Key Productions CEO Cliff Bleszinski, on the other hand, is keen on what VR will bring.
