Worst Gadget List 2016: GoPro Karma, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 & More!
Jai2016 is coming to an end and boy we had some entertaining and intuitive inventions to look up. But, not all were promising. Some of them were developed with high expectations, but at the end, all they could deliver was inevitable misfortune. Here is 2016's worst gadget list to give readers a glimpse of the most memorable tech mistakes.
Lenovo looked forward to bring us with a concept right out of our favorite Sci-fi scenarios. The company though that its digital sketchpad (used in the notebook) would replace physical keyboards for good. But, the idea was too irritating to rely on as users found it quite difficult to type on the smooth surface. Lenovo Yoga Book launched with a promising start, but it seems as though a majority of users still prefer the physical touch when it comes to keyboards.
It feels disappointing to see one of Samsung's highly anticipated and loved devices becoming a destructive force. Who could ever think of this great device to enter the list of 2016's worst gadget list? The device has greatly affected Samsung's brand image. But, the company promises to rectify its mistakes and never repeat what happened in the past. Let's hope it gets back on track.
Those readers who are not familiar with this weird gadget should check it out for sure. The headphone does all that users would love it to do. Play music, track activity, and even read received messages. But, why would there be a need to add displays to the ear cups facing outwards? Does Vinci want the people around to share our messages with them? Surely, a weird concept if we must say. At least it gets to be on the 2016's worst gadget list. Bravo!
In 2016, the iPhone 7 came without a headphone jack which already made a number of fans furious. But, then Apple also provided with a connector that has the 3.5 mm jack at the end to perform the same operations. Was it just to grab in some extra bucks out of the customers? When more than half the population is still relying on 3.5 mm jacks, then why would Apple need to remove it so early and then offer the same thing through a connector? Now, that is dumb.
2016's gadgets consist of a number of popular inventions and drone are one of them. Some of these awesome gadgets did great on the market, while others were poorly received. One of the gadgets was the GoPro Karma. But, as soon as it came out, it was recalled. It lasted in the market for just 16 days, and people didn't even have a chance to get their hands on this great invention. Defects in the technology caused the recall and led to disappointment among fans. 2016's worst gadgets list is certainly incomplete without it.
