The world's thinnest smartphone, Oppo Finder is available for pre-order now. The title of the world's thinnest smartphone is not Huawei Ascent P1's anymore.
There was a time when the Motorola DROID RAZR used to hold the title of the world's thinnest smartphone with its 7.1mm thickness. The Huawei Ascend P1 got that title later with 6.68mm thickness. But people who want to own the world's thinnest smartphone that even beats 6.68mm thickness can wait for the Oppo Finder.
Pre-orders will be opened from 24 June in Chinese market. It is available for ¥2,498 now without any contract. It is equivalent to $393 and may not be available in the U.S. The ZTE Athena which is a 6.2mm device is going to be launched later but for now, the Oppo Finder is the world's thinnest smartphone.
Oppo Finder features a 4.3-inch AMOLED plus touchscreen, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The front side looks quite similar to Samsung Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note, while the sides look similar to iPhone. It's also packed with 8 megapixel camera and a pair of LED flash units. People can capture 1080p videos using this camera. There is also a front camera with 1.3 megapixel that is also capable of capturing 720p videos. Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is running this device so no update is required.
Thin is the new trend in the smartphone world and the Oppo Finder is here to claim the world's thinnest smartphone title.
