New iPhone 7s Leak On Design May Upset Fans; No Final Specs Likely To Be Announced Until Q2 2017
Van DThis upcoming 2017 marks a huge milestone for Apple and its venture into the smartphone business as the tech giant will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of the iPhone. Apple has truly reshaped the cellphone industry with this revolutionary gadget that would forever change the way people live their lives.
Just like any other year, Apple fans are already anticipating what the tech giant would be releasing for 2017. All the more so because this year marks a big event. Unfortunately, sources reveal that there have been some leaks that give fans a peek as to what is about to be released; and it has been said that the upcoming device is not too impressive.
Forbes reports that the 2017 iPhones could be very disappointing as, instead of the iPhone 8, Apple will release an iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus - both of which are practically identical to the current generation iPhone 7. If this speculation is correct, this would be the fourth consecutive time where Apple has stuck with the same design with very minimal changes. What could anger some fans is that iPhone rivals have innovated and continuously cut down bezel widths to fit larger displays into smaller phones.
Since the iPhone had been released, there have been talks as to what comes next with every year. this time, fans have been asking how serious this new leak is. Mac Otakara, the first hand source of this information, has a considerably good record of predicting upcoming Apple models; it was even the first to predict that the iPhone 7 would be removing the headphone jack.
While this may be true, there are really no confirmations yet as to what are to come for this upcoming year and the final specs are still to be decided during the second quarter of 2017. Daily Mail reports that Apple has plans to introduce a 5-inch iPhone 7s that would feature vertical dual cameras. Sources also say that there have been leaks within Apple's Taiwanese supply chain; revealing that, although there are some changes to the size and to the cameras, all other specs will remain the same.
