Nintendo brings "Mario Kart 64" to the Nintendo Wii U virtual console while "Castlevania: Dracula X" to the Nintendo 3DS virtual console according to a report by Siliconera.

"Mario Kart 64" first appeared on the Nintendo 64. It was the sequel to the original Super Nintendo Entrainment System game and was the first to use the four-player multiplayer and 3D tracks. Players may choose Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Princess Peach, Yoshi, Toad, Donkey Kong or Wario as their racer. Game modes include Grand Prix, Time Trial, Battle and versus. It is available in the Nintendo Wii U eShop for $9.99.

"Castlevania: Dracula X" was a game developed for the Super Nintendo in 1995 and was a ported TurboGrafx 16 game, "Castlevania: Rondo of Blood." The protagonist is Vampire killer Richter Belmont as he battles monsters to save his beloved. The game allows players to choose their own fate as they are given options on how to respond in certain situations. The version of the Super Nintendo is more difficult and has seven levels and removes the option of playing as Maria. It's available in the Nintendo 3DS sShop for $7.99.

According to other reports, Nintendo is also offering other sales for this week in both the Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS eShops that include "Just Dance 2017, "Runbow" and "Teslagrad." Additionally, the Nintendo 3DS has been very popular this holiday season.

They have announced recently that 10 million units of the latest Pokemon games were officially shipped worldwide; "Pokemon Hit," "Pokemon Moon," "Pokemon Sun." The popularity of these games made Nintendo 3DS hard to come by with Amazon.com having a hard-time keeping the handheld console in stock during the holidays.

Which of the two are you going to play on the virtual console, "Castlevania: Dracula X" or "Mario Kart 64?" Share your comments below!
