"Nier Automata" demo was amazing because gamers got to know about the highly awaited battle system. The flow of the battle system revealed about skill levelling and overall money and level system just like action-RPG games such as "Final Fantasy XV." Players also got to experience a part of the game's actual story. What's interesting to note is the ending of the demo and one option in the menu, where players can remove the OS Chip to kill their own self.

Black screen and returns to the title screen

First of all, "Nier Automata" demo ended with a shocking scene and cliffhanger and players were stunned from what they saw in the ending. YorHa 2B and 9S struggled to end the boss. However, it was revealed that there are more of the same machines than one. Now, 9S, the main character's companion pulled out a Black Box, and requested to dissipate the "hostile enemies" around them.

Thus, 2B and 9S clinked the two boxes together and everything was obliterated like a nuclear explosion. The screen blackens and players are led to the title of the game with the message, "Thank you for playing!" with the release date below. An article from Polygon reveals the video from Jay RPG.

Do not remove the OS Chip from equipped chips

Kotaku also revealed that removing the OS Chip kills the main character, a black screen fades in, and returns players back to the title screen. Well-known for his creations with multiple endings, Yoko Taro's game may unlock another potential in choosing the right options. "Nier Automata" will be released on March 7 in North America and March 10 in Europe year 2017 for the PlayStation 4 and PC platform. Information regarding the PC version is yet to be announced.
