TrackR Unveils New Devices, TrackR Pixel, TrackR Wallet 2.0 And the TrackR Atlas
Cris Xander JulianoTrackR, a location tag company, unveils its new devices ahead of the Consumer Electronics Show 2017; TrackR Pixel, TrackR Wallet 2.0 and the TrackR Atlas, as reported by Slash Gear.
Both the TrackR Pixel and the TrackR Wallet 2.0 connect to a Bluetooth and link to a smartphone device. These trackers should help you find lost keys, lost TV remote control or a missing wallet. It's very similar to the functionality of TrackR's previous devices; the major difference here is that it's cheaper due to the fact that it's made of plastic and more convenient.
TrackR Pixel is available for pre-order at $24.99, compared to its bravo version of $29.99. It's available in nine different colors and a lot lighter and smaller than its predecessor. Lost your keys inside your bag? Don't worry the TrackR Pixel has an LED that can be remotely activated in such scenarios, making it easier for you to find your keys. The device starts shipping in the Spring of 2017.
The TrackR Wallet 2.0 has similar functionalities; the difference is it's intended for wallets. The device is shaped like a credit card so it can fit in your wallet and made out of carbon fiber. It also has the replaceable battery support from the previous generation wallet. It's available for pre-order at $29.99 and will start shipping in the Spring of 2017.
The TrackR Atlas, as reported by Engadget, is a series of Wi-Fi plugs that can map out your home. Users can build floor plans of their homes on the TrackR app that allows a notification when tagged items leave a certain room. It is also compatible with Amazon Alexa. Additionally, the Atlas is compatible with with non-TrackR bluetooth tracking products. It is available for pre-order at $39.99 and will be shipped starting in the Spring of 2017.
