‘Trackr Atlas’ Review [VIDEO]: A $40 Home-Mapping Wall Plug To Never Lose Anything ! ‘Trackr Pixel’ Worth $25 Also Revealed!
uBmusePeople have set up a notion that as people age they start to lose their memory strength and because of that, they start to lose track of things. Well, that isn't entirely true. In fact, a large part of the population loses their things on a daily basis, not because of some memory problem but merely because their focus is on something else. "Trackr Atlas' is one such device that helps you keep track of things inside your house. What's better is that the device costs only $40.
A person does not have to own a large mansion to lose their things. Even a one BHK apartment is big enough to get your precious things lost, especially for messy people. Now, Trackr has launched a new device along with Trackr Atlas, the "Trackr Pixel", which also acts as a product tracker device. The gadget comes with new key-ring like objects which act as the Trackr pixel tag, allowing you to locate your lost things inside your house or way beyond.
The tech giant is already offering a number of gadgets which include TrackR Bravo, TrackR sticker, and TrackR wallet. Now, with the new "Trackr Pixel" as well as modified "Trackr Atlas", the company has made tracking lost objects much easier. The "Trackr Pixel" is just like the Bravo device, which was introduced at the 2015 CES, but a much better and enhanced version of it. The Pixel features the same specs as that of Bravo and is available in nine colours. The device is made of plastic, replacing the earlier aluminium body, which makes it comparatively more durable.
"Trackr Pixel" also features LED lights so that the user finds it very easy to track down the lost objects even in the dark. The product is very thin, just 5mm thick and also features the CR 2016 battery life, which extends up to 1 year. It is worth notable that the metal key ring is based on a lanyard nylon string and the ring volume is around 86 decibels.
The "Trackr Atlas", on the other hand, acts as a mapping service for all these devices. The product comes in the form of a wall plug and acts as a central hub for all the Trackr devices. Atlas notifies the user whenever a particular object with a tag enters or exits the room. The device also consistently keeps a record of the tagged devices current location. The "TrackR Atlas" uses both Wi-Fi as well as Bluetooth Low Energy radios to detect the nearby tagged items. There's also a catch that the device works with other products as well, including 'The Tile'.
Both the devices are available for pre-order for $40 for Atlas, and $25 for Pixel devices. The devices also have an added support for Alexa, which pinpoints the exact location of the lost item to the user. Stay tuned to Mobile&Apps for more news and updates on other Trackr Devices.
