‘Pokemon GO’ Guide Finding Those Rare Pokemon That Are Every Player’s Dream

Ritwik Roy

"Pokemon GO" players may know by now that a rare Pokemon does not necessarily mean it's useful for gym battles. However, some of the rare Pokemon in the game are also the creatures that are best both for Gym fighting and protecting them from opposing trainers. It is very difficult to measure a Pokemon's rarity. The only help could be the Global Nest Atlas, which is basically a global map of Pokemon spawn points.

If a "Pokemon GO" player is looking for gym battling and wants to know which rare Pokemon he should try and capture, this is the right place to know. Snorlax and Lapras are the rarest and the most combat-effective Pokemon. The two are so rare that just having them is not enough. The amount of candy needed to power-up the two could be a problem. Candy can be obtained either through the Buddy System or catching and hatching Pokemon.

The experienced "Pokemon GO" player will, however, choose Dratini and Eevee for gym battling not because they are extremely powerful or something but because they can evolve into tough fighters. They can evolve into Dragonite and Vaporeon. Dratini first evolves into Dragonair and then into Dragonite, one of the best gym attackers. Dratini is extremely difficult to find and players should use the Nearby menu to spot one.

Eevee goes through three evolutions though Vaporeon is definitely a top-tier Pokemon in "Pokemon GO." Eevee's evolution could be controlled by renaming the Eevee Rainer, Pyro or Sparky. In order to evolve the renamed Eevee into Jolteon, Flareon and Vaporeon, the trainer needs to reload the app. "Pokemon GO" players are eagerly waiting for the three Legendary Birds, Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres along with Mew and Mewtwo.

Once Niantic releases them, they will become the rarest and most sought after Pokemon in a short time, writes Tech.Mic.
