ODBear Studios' Greenlit visual novel has an interesting premise. The game's playable character is a ghost, and while your journey to the afterlife is yet to begin, you are given the chance to help those who are still alive.

The word "theosis" is defined as the deification or "a transformative process whose aim is likeness to or union with God," and time will tell what this holds in store for "Final Theosis." ODBear Studios' official website describes the game as "a mystical romance visual novel."

Visual novels are interactive games that require the player to choose from dialog options. A player's choices usually affect the ending, or endings, that one can receive after completing a title.

"Final Theosis'" Steam community page features the synopsis of the game which reads, "Bad news, you're dead. When you wake up, you are surrounded by ghosts who, like you, are waiting for their turn to cross the border between Purgatory and Heaven. Albeit dead, your job now is to uncover the truth about your demise and help human beings in peril on Earth. By doing so, you may be granted a chance to go to your final resting place."

Playing the game allows you to return to Earth as a spirit, where you must find out how you died and help the living. However, if you make the wrong choice, you might end up in Limbo instead.

"Final Theosis" features mini-games that can help you save human souls all over the world. If you succeed, you can earn special in-game rewards. Helping other souls will unlock special skills. The game also has Optional Romance routes that you can explore.

Featuring an original story, the game has a total of 14 endings to unlock and can take as long as six to 12 hours to finish. "Final Theosis" has 150+ lovingly rendered backgrounds, 30+ hours of beautiful music tracks and is playable in English and in French. The game supports Steam Achievements and Steam Trading Cards as well.

"Final Theosis" requires a Windows 7 OS, a 1 GHz Processor and 2 GB RAM. Make sure your PC also has an Integrated Graphics Chip, DirectX Version 9.0c and 600 MB of available storage space before purchasing the game, which will go on sale in the second quarter of 2017.
