'Mass Effect: Andromeda' Will Have An HDR Support On Xbox One, PS4 & PC
Cores Grace MalaaySpacefaring RPG "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will support high dynamic range (HDR) on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One S as well as on PC as confirmed by BioWare Studio GM Aaryn Flynn on Twitter via DualShockers. Thankfully, Andromeda is not of those games that did not bother releasing HDR support to all platforms.
HDR offers more color vibrant on screen and luminous games to make a game's content look more realistic and convincing, which needs an HDR-capable screen to make it more effective. According to GameSpot, Flynn has been really busy with answering Andromeda questions where he also confirmed last week that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is not getting a Season Pass, will not be available in Arabic and also dropped hints that the requirements on PC will be revealed in February.
BioWare also showed off a demo for "Mass Effect: Andromeda" at the PS4 Pro console reveal and immediately became one of the several titles that are in development for HDR support. Flynn, though didn't disclose which HDR standard Andromeda will support but according to VG247, most likely, HDR10 is the best possible option because most TV manufacturers have adopted this standard widely.
Fans have also asked Flynn on the resolution and frame-rate on the consoles for the game, which is why he has been making himself busy regarding the game's development. In the past week, BioWare has announced the release date of the game, which is set to launch on March 21 in North America and in Europe on March 23, which will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
The countdown for the release of the game has certainly reached a fever pitch as EA's Frostbite engine is being used in the game and expected to provide an excellent graphical jump than "Mass Effect 3." There will be new planets, stories, characters, species, gameplay systems and a lot more, which is one of the reasons why the developer took its time in developing the game to deliver the best possible "Mass Effect: Andromeda" experience.
