Microsoft is delivering its promise to add more games to the Xbox One backwards compatibility program. According to Gamespot, the company recently announced the addition of seven games to the program, which includes some major titles.
The Xbox One backwards compatibility program allows users who have purchased certain titles for the Xbox 360 to run the same in Microsoft's latest game console. The newest games added to the list include the following: "Battlefield: Bad Company 2," "Battlefield 3," "Strania," "Ghostbusters," "Dragon Age: Origins," "The Splatters" and "Scrap Metal."
The publication notes that there are over 300 games in the Xbox One backwards compatibility program, which began in Nov. 2015. The games will be automatically added to the Xbox One library for those who purchased the game online.
Meanwhile, many users are looking forward to Xbox One Scorpio, as Microsoft has been teasing gamers about what could be expected from its upcoming console. As per Express, the two main selling points of Xbox One Scorpio may be its VR and 4K gaming capabilities.
There are reports that the Xbox One Scorpio may feature the new Vega architecture, which definitely seems promising for the console's performance. The head of Xbox games marketing, Aaron Greenberg, teased fans that 2017 is the year for the creation of Xbox One Scorpio.
Greenberg called the project as the "beast," which made a lot of fans excited. Halo developer 343 Industries' Frank O'Connor refused to share features of the Xbox One Scorpio, but the developer hinted that the upcoming console will be "beefier" than the previous one.
