In North America, pre-ordering "Nioh" through the PlayStation Store comes with a Bloody Grave Dynamic Theme and an in-game Nioh Armour. PlayStation Lifestyle notes that the Armour was inspired by the ancient statues that serve as temple guards found in Japan.
European pre-orders on the other hand also come with the Nioh Armour and an in-game Crimson Master Armour. It is based off of the battle outfit worn by Japan's legendary samurai Yukimura Sanada. As an added perk, anyone who purchases "Nioh" within two weeks after its release will get the Crimson Master Armour, both in America and in Europe.
Along with Deluxe Edition that costs $80 is the "Nioh" Season Pass. It will grant players access to three post-launch DLC packs, which are Dragon of the North, Defiant Honor and Bloodshed's End. "Digital Deluxe edition includes the full game, five in-game weapons inspired by those found on Nioh statues across Japan, and a season pass to unlock three pieces of DLC containing extra missions, story, and a PS4 avatar," Team Ninja says.
"Nioh" releases in February 7 in North America, February 8 in Europe and February 9 in Japan, exclusively for PlayStation 4. The game is published by Koei Tecmo in Japan and Sony Interactive Entertainment is handling international publishing duties. Check out its PSX 2016 trailer below.
