Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro To Launch In India By Mid-February
Cris Xander JulianoSamsung has announced that it will launch the Galaxy C9 Pro device in India by mid-February. Pre-orders start in January 27 for around $543. The Galaxy C9 Pro debuted in China in October 2016.
The company offers a one-time screen replacement for those who will pre-order the device on the said date, which is valid for one year upon the date of purchase, writes Android Authority. The new device comes in black or gold variations and is primarily designed for multimedia consumption and gaming. It includes the Game Launcher from the Galaxy S7 series.
The Galaxy C9 Pro has a 6-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display and 6GB of RAM. It sports 16MP front and rear cameras with a f1.9 lens with Dual LED Flash that allows you to capture brilliant images even in low light, according to Samsung Newsroom India.
The device is wrapped in a metal case and has an internal storage capacity of 64GB. This can be expanded up to 256GB with a microSD card. Under its hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 and boasts a 64-bit Octa Core processor with a long lasting 4,000 mAh non-removable battery with fast charging technology. The Galaxy C9 Pro uses a USB Type-C port for faster data transferring. The device has dual SIM capabilities and a fingerprint scanner for its security feature.
The device will be running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. The Galaxy C9 Pro's 6-inch screen is pretty big, which is great for watching movies and playing games. However, users might have difficulty using this device with just one hand for text messaging and browsing.
