With the new trailer of "Injustice 2" being released, more information about the upcoming video game has been disclosed by its developer, Nether Realm Studios. The profile of the scarlet speedster, The Flash, has been released in the official "Injustice 2" website giving players a glimpse of what to expect about the character in the upcoming game.

"All day I've been reminded how I failed to be a hero," the Flash said in his Bio. "Once known as the fastest man alive, Barry Allen has hung up his boots in public shame after defecting from the Regime. However, as a new enemy threatens the innocent, the Flash returns to action, determined to reveal himself."

WWG reported that it was Grant Gustin, who played Barry Allen on The CW's "The Flash," who is rumored to be the voice of the Flash's character "Injustice 2." "WB Games confirmed to WWG that is not the case, however, and no talks have taken place between Gustin and WB Games for the Injustice series as of right now," the company clarified on Gustin's involvement in the upcoming game.

Other popular DC Comics characters like Batman, Harley Quinn and Deadshot have also been released in the "Injustice 2" official page, which also includes the Blue Beetle, Gorilla Grodd and Atrocitus together with their character's lines. There are only 11 out of the 31 slots that were released on the page which means that there will be more fighters that will be added to the roster in the forthcoming Ultimate Edition.

The "Injustice 2" Ultimate Edition is expected to be released simultaneously with the main game, "Injustice 2" on May 16, 2017 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Meanwhile, excited fans can catch the official "Injustice 2" trailer below.
