Nintendo Switch Won't Support Netflix At Launch; Fils-Aime Says Hybrid Console Has A Bright Future
JulianneEvery gamer is excited that finally Nintendo confirmed the release of Nintendo Switch. A lot of hype has been made by the hybrid console over the months that pasted by. Other features are expected as well such as games and functionality. However, there are recent reports that the Switch won't have a Netflix support.
WWG reports that the Nintendo Switch will be all about gaming. The publication states that a report from Business Insider said that multimedia functions won't be a thing for the console. However, it is still early to speculate on that matter.
The report further states that the console's 4GB of RAM, mobile processors and OS needs to be kept to a minimum to ensure that the console's power is focus all in gaming. Things like multiple, bulky apps running on the background might cost the console to fail or crash.
Both Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U are supported with Netflix and there is possibility that the hybrid gaming console will have one, too. However, the Switch is capable of running Netflix but an official announcement from the Japanese gaming company is all that needs to be heard.
In other news, Nintendo of America Reggie Fils-Aime talked about the future of Nintendo Switch. In a report from Gamespot, Film-Aime shared brief information about the gaming console in an interview with the publication. Reggie Fils-Aime firmly believes that the Switch will have a bright future.
The is also reported that game producer Eiji Aonuma hinted that Nintendo might develop another "Legend of Zelda" game after "Breath of the Wild." Nintendo Switch is slated to be released on March 3, 2017 with a price tag of $300.
At the moment, the pre-order for the hybrid console has gone out of stock, indicating how the market highly anticipates its arrival alongside Nintendo's long list of exciting video games coming at launch with Switch.
