A few days before the highly anticipated Jan. 24 release date of the survival horror game "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" for Sony PlayStation 4 a new scary video game has been announced to be under development for the PS4 game console. The new horror title "Perception" will be spearheaded by game developers who were at the helm in the production of popular video game "Bioshock".

Game developer The Deep End has just announced that it is currently working on a new video game for Sony Ps4 game console and is collaborating with Feardemic Studio. The Deep End is formed by key members of the now closed Irrational Games. Among the list of games with the Irrational Games' name attach to it is "Bioshock" on which the company is credited as a designer.

Aptly called "Perception", the new video game revolves around Cassie Thornton, a blind woman. According to reports, the gameplay of the video game centers on helping Cassie navigate her way inside a mansion that is said to be inhabited by a supernatural being. Sounds simple, but there's a catch.

In playing the video game, players will not be given any form of weapon and the only thing in Cassie's hand is a smartphone and a walking-stick. By tapping the walking-stick on surfaces, a part of the environment around Cassie is illuminated which will allow players see the world around the video game character.

"Perception" will also feature several chapters that will be played out in different eras. These chapters will tell the story of the horrible things that have occurred inside the mansion during different time periods.

The video game "Perception" was initially developed for Windows PC game platform and has surfaced in 2015. The first person horror game generated quite a hype in 2015 when it was reported that "Perception" raised $150,000 plus from Kickstarter to fund its development.
