EA's online tactical action game made its way to Android device starting today after a soft launch in iOS back in April 2016 according to Android Authority. In the game, players need to train soldiers and lead them into battle with modern equipment such as drones, jet packs and weapons.

It's a cover-based online shooter wherein users command a squad of heroes and create WarCards to fight against enemies while in battle. Friends can join in the game and battle alongside other players in ranked online matches. Players are also allowed to customize their army and deploy tanks and choppers to name a few.

"WarFriends" features 1v1 tactical combat battles, squad matches and co-op modes. It's a free-to-play app with in-app purchases.

The Gold in the game can be used to train troops faster and purchase WarCard packs once unlocked. Players can earn Gold by wining battles or can be bought in packs that range from $1.99 to $99.99.

Medals in the game are also earned in winning battles and gauges the players rank. To start an attack, players must use Grenade units first together with the player's own grenades to try and surprise the enemies. Shooting the opponents troops that surround them can give players an advantage as it gives energy to deploy additional troops. Players must also learn how to switch weapons during battle. Targeting snipers first or explosive units is also recommended.
