New Grand Theft Auto V Mod Brings The Green Goblin To The Streets Of Los Santos [VIDEO]
Rei LantionDespite the fact that it's almost four years old, the "Grand Theft Auto 5" fanbase has done a great job of making sure the game never dies. The whole "GTA 5" community keeps it fresh with constant additions and modifications for games to enjoy practically every month.
JulioNIB is a popular modder well-known for introducing a slew of knock-off heroes to the streets of Los Santos. His latest contribution to "GTA 5" comes in the form of one villainous Green Goblin on his infamous glider.
A list of JulioNIB's previous hero mods, according to PCGamesN, includes Iron Man, Superman, and Ghost Rider. It seems he's gone to the dark side this time around with Norman/Harry Osborn, aka The Green Gobline. Check out the video of this mod in action below:
Massive kudos must be given to this modder, as the footage reveals a suit and glider that look pretty darn terrific. According to Game Rant, the game alteration includes a Green Goblin suit inspired by the Spider-Man film adaptation-and thankfully not the puke-green comic book aesthetic-and a glider vehicle decked out with crazy arsenal.
From what the video shows us, the mod gives you a glider that lets you fly around the streets of Los Santos. Gamers can also open fire on cars below with a machine gun, and lob grenades at anything and everything that moves if they're so inclined.
The glider also features front-mounted spikes that are both very real and very deadly. For die-hard Spider-Man comic fans, you'll remember that these are the same spikes that impaled Norman Osborn to a wall.
Props to JulioNIB; It's certainly the closest most of us will get to living the life of a villain. Sadly, the mod is currently on version 0.2 and isn't available for download yet. But don't worry; the modder posts regular updates regarding progress. And if the video is anything to go by, this mod is well worth the wait.
