iOS 10.2 Jailbreak Could Be The Last Public iOS Research From Luca Todesco?
Caitlin MooreLuca Todesco, the man behind Yalu iOS 10.1.1 Jailbreak, took to his Twitter account to announce that he will no longer carry out an iOS research with the public after releasing the upcoming 10.2 update. The said jailbreaking tool is still in Beta version and users are seemingly not so happy about it. For this reason, Todesco has received several criticisms that may have caused him to think of having a break from doing public Apple iOS research.
In his recent announcement, the iOS hacker made it clear that he will drop a 10.2 "thing" before putting a stop to future public iOS research. The reason behind his decision to back out might be the pressure and disapprovals he encountered in the past week. As he comprehensively stated, "The idiocy of the jailbreak community is too much to handle for me."
PSA: I will stop all public iOS research after I drop that 10.2 thing. The idiocy of the jailbreak community is too much to handle for me.

It can be recalled that on Jan. 7, Todesco tweeted that he will be releasing a fix to the current iOS 10.1 Jailbreak to add iOS 10.2 support. However, users were not happy about not getting an update on the new iOS jailbreak fix after two weeks. That said, Todesco was apparently pounded by some followers who were tired of waiting and kept asking him for an update on the jailbreaking tool.
Instead of an update, the famous jailbreaking tool maker surprised the iOS jailbreak community with an announcement that he will stop iOS public research after the iOS 10.2 "thing." He did not clarify, however, what the "thing" could entail. But based on his previous tweet, he may be referring to the fix that would carry support for iOS 10.2 that fans have long been waiting for.
In other news, Apple device users may soon meet the new iOS 10.3 that would carry a Dark Mode feature, Mobile&Apps reported. It is expected to launch in March though the official release date is yet to be confirmed by the Cupertino-based company. Are you excited for the upcoming iOS update?
