"Star Wars: The Last Jedi" was revealed to be the official title for the latest film to be released for the "Star Wars" series. Finally, the movie's playmakers have decided to announce what they are working on for Episode VIII. In fact, we had a glimpse of Rey after a blurry photo spread in social media, where the character is in some sort of a clandestine Christmas ornament convocation.

Luke Skywalker and Rey are apparently seen in the said sneak peek for "Star Wars: The Last Jedi." A lot of fans were curious about the title while many worried as though it feels like it is the last time that we are going to see the franchise. However, it seems unlikely. In the said photos revealed, Luke is wearing the same costume he wore in "The Force Awakens." He then posed for a new getup for the film that will be released in December. It is described as a black sleeveless outfit with a belt, a pack on his lower left leg and boots.

While the title was announced today, no trailer was released for "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" yet. The costume leak, however, is a good hype. Aside from that, big news from Mark Hamill himself. Playing Luke Skywalker, he revealed that he loves the "samurai" vibe in the "The Last Jedi." Also, he described the title as simple and straight-forward. He then added that Rian Johnson had thought of the name long ago and they knew it all along, which was hard for them to keep a secret.

Hamill also said that they had some paranoia over leaks of the movie title but it seems like everyone kept mum about it, especially regarding the plot. As of the moment, what we all know is that the movie was written by Johnson. With "The Last Jedi" launching immediately after "The Force Awakens", there is a huge part of the movie that needs to bond the two main characters. Kylo Ren actor Adam Driver also gave his inputs about his character and his evolution from the previous installment.

Actors of the December film also regarded "The Last Jedi" darker than "The Force Awakens." However, Johnson kept the comedy and adventure at a high level for the film, still. So now we know that Luke and Rey will wear clothes and that everyone in the cast knows about the title in "Star Wars: The Last Jedi", out in theaters Dec. 15.
