‘Mass Effect: Andromeda’ News: BioWare Released New Cinematic Trailer Videos Introducing Game's New Villains
Gloven RamosTwo cinematic video trailers for "Mass Effect: Andromeda" were recently released. In these videos, fans got a good look into the game's Pathfinder crew, and the game's villains.
These villains are the new alien species encountered by the Pathfinder team as they explore the planet they called the Habitat 7. These alien villains look somewhat similar to humans and they seem to be very intelligent.
The villains were introduced in the second cinematic trailer video of "Mass Effect: Andromeda." On the other hand, the first video trailer focused more on introducing the new leading and the only playable characters- the Ryder siblings, Scott and Sarah, as well as their new team members- Alec Ryder, Liam Kosta, Cora Harper, Drack the Krogan, and Peebee. They are all part of the Pathfinder team that will fight the villainous aliens lead by Kett Archon.
As cited by Polygon, the two cinematic trailers show doesn't reveal any information about "Mass Effect: Andromeda's" gameplay. However, the videos show significant information about the game's plot. The site also noted that the trailers were creatively made to pique the fans' interest even more.
Only a few details were revealed for the villains of the game in "Mass Effect: Andromeda." However, Techno Buffalo reported that game developer, BioWare, previously promised that they are working hard on the new characters and villains, and they will be significantly different from the older game's characters.
"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is set six centuries after the events of the last "Mass Effect" game. The game will be launched on Mar. 17, 2017 and will be available on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
