'Subnautica' Latest Update, News: 'Castle & Coffee' Precursor Update Adds New Discoverable Place & More!
Switchy SamDiscovering creatures and other things on an unknown planet is always a priority for adventurers or explorers in "Subnautica." The great thing about this game from Unknown Worlds is the open-world feature, which gives players the freedom to explore, build, and do whatever they want to do. In addition, the graphics and sounds are of excellent quality that makes the game more immersive compared to other survival games in the market.
Recently, the developers released a video featuring a new update that adds more utilities and changes to the game. These include a coffee maker, trash cans for nuclear plant rods and other rubbish and a new discoverable location filled with mysteries. The Steam page for the game is located here.
The official game channel released a YouTube video which teases about the new update and features that will change things in the game significantly. The video is below from "Subnautica" and it is amazing:
A new location is being added to the active lava zone. This is an alien-like fortress where players need to scan for things and discover the hidden mystery behind it. Of course, they should pack some food and hydration items for safe exploration. Then again, Warpers are swarming the area, so players must be careful while venturing the area. The update notes can be viewed in the Unknown Worlds official website.
Bed, luggage bag, vending machine and more
In addition to the new location, some of other features and changes that will be added to the game include bed, luggage bag, vending machines, and more. The bed can be used whenever a player wants to skip the day, especially during the night, where everything goes viciously. The vending machines and coffee makers can be used to fill up the hunger and thirst meter. Another tech is Gravsphere, which grabs fish as well as nearby resources. Lastly, the Ping System from the PDA is now changed for easier access, including the Air Bladder changes and final design. "Subnautica" is surely getting ready for its official roll out on December 17, 2017.
