'Final Fantasy XV' Guides: End Game Weapons And Accessories

Aside arms vendors and treasure spots all over Eos, players can also find other weapons and accessories after finishing the main story mode of Square Enix's role-playing game "Final Fantasy XV." Some of them show up in certain areas once you reach Chapter 15, while others must be acquired deep within dungeons.

Gosu Noob reveals the location of several weapons of these items and first is the Black Hood. This Noctis-only accessory, which lets you evade all attacks automatically, is in the Pitioss Ruins. However, you can only acquire this item after completing the "Stealing the Past" side quest to unlock the Pitioss Ruins.

Ribbons are staple accessories in the "Final Fantasy" franchise and prevent most status ailments. A Ribbon can be bought from Alessio in Altissia. He is located in the Palsino Street Station, the same area with the Justice Monster V machines. Take note that you will need 40 Oracle Ascension Coins to purchase a Ribbon from him. You can also receive a Ribbon as a reward from "Frogs of Legend," Sania's last side quest.

Next is the Ring of the Lucii, which can be acquired in Chapter 13 of the main game. While it requires MP to work, this weapon allows Noctis to cast devastating magical spells against enemies. Press R1 + the circle button casts the Death spell, which drains enemy HP and transfers it to Noctis. R1 + the square button casts Holy which deals Holy damage to enemies when Noctis successfully dodges their attacks.

Pressing R1 + the triangle button casts Alterna, which can be used in wide areas. Alterna ejects a number of enemies during combat into another dimension. However, Alterna will not work on larger and more powerful enemies, especially bosses. Casting Alterna also costs Noctis' full MP bar.

The Dominator Greatsword can be found in some buildings west of Coernix in Alstor. It is a red glittering object and is just out in the open for Noctis to pick up. The Dominator comes with 583 attack and increases the wielder's health and dark resistance.

The Ultima Blade is one of the strongest Swords Noctis can use in "Final Fantasy XV." It can be acquired after you upgrade the Engine Blade thrice. The first upgrade requires a Rusted Bit, the second needs a Glass Gemstone, and the final upgrade requires a Sturdy Helixhorn.

The Cerberus Sniper Rifle, on the other hand, can be found at the Fort Vaullery Imperial Base. The weapon can be found in Chapter 6, in a small building in the northeastern part of the base. Only Noctis can use this weapon, and it lets you aim at certain enemy parts. Press R1 + the triangle button to aim when in combat.
