Though some are expecting major changes with "GTA 5 Online" come March, there are also fans who believe that what will be introduced are mere updates for the game. A Valentine's Day content is also anticipated by players.

No more DLC expansion?

Express reported that there is still no guarantee that a DLC will come out for "GTA 5 Online" as there is no official word coming from Rockstar. It, however, noted that the usual content for February 14 is sure to be released on Valentine's Day.

It was also indicated that the update on content that many are waiting for could have already been released by Rockstar in the past. Some fans of the game claim that the last big release for "GTA 5 Online" was last year and that the next update will just be supporting contents or changes for this.

Limited people

A blog discussion by Yan2295 revealed Rockstar's limited manpower on the game is also another factor to consider. "So you're left with only a few people to work on GTA Online. You can't have updates as big as we had in the past when you have 4x less devs working on GTA Online, that's just impossible," the blog post added.

Yan2295 also claimed that the things will "slow down" after the Import/Export update for the "GTA 5 Online " last year. He added that with Rockstar also running out of resources and ideas, the game developer will also come up with only small updates and not glaring ones.

The individual who posted the blog said that players should observe what will happen next to "GTA 5 Online" and that if there will be no major changes, it is safe to say that there will be no big updates coming. He added that Rockstar could just be keeping the game alive with some minor tweaks.
