We probably won't be seeing the release of the iPhone 8 before September 2018. However, the speculations and rumors about the specifications of the upcoming iPhone 8 are running in the market at top speed. The latest news is not completely novel but they are much more specific and hence, more believable. The iPhone 8 may feature wireless charging which will be an inductive method of charging the phone.

"Over the course of the last year, there has been ongoing speculation that wireless charging company Energous has inked a deal with Apple and could potentially provide wireless charging technology for the upcoming iPhone 8," said columnist Juli Clover.

However, she also stated that Apple may instead opt to go for an in-house wireless charging solution. An investor's note found in Copperfield Research indicates that Apple probably has no plans of teaming up with Energous to use its Wattup Radio frequency technology. Experts believe that Apple will seek to enhance its own charging solutions- an attribute it has been working on for years. Not just the charging aspects, Apple may also work towards increasing its waterproof technology for the iPhone 8.

Apple may be planning to make its next iPhone even more waterproof, Samsung's Galaxy S7 is currently the only smartphone with a device boasting an IP68 rating, but Apple allegedly plans to catch up this year with an iPhone that can be submerged just as deep, reported Cult of Mac.

People have mixed opinions about the viability of an improvised waterproofing technology. Some believe it is not important but we do believe that there are enough chances of our smartphones including the costly iPhone 8 to be dropped in water accidentally. Not just the robust features, the iPhone 8 will have improvised aesthetic features and may have a better camera than Phone 7 Plus. The users already deem it to be a nearly perfect camera. The iPhone 8 may also come with biometric identification function as well as a new and better design with zero bezel screen. The Touch ID may be replaced with facial recognition technology along with infused aspects of augmented reality.
