Apple Is Reportedly Making A Smartphone That Doubles As Vaping Product
Athena DeeApple is one of the strongest leaders in today’s mobile device industry. Moreover, a new report regarding a recent patent indicates that the Cupertino-based tech giant has also tapped into the vaping public.
Based on the patent that was published by the US Patent and Trademark Office, Apple has plans of coming up with a new technology for vaporizing. The patent, which was filed in 2016, points to a device that can regulate temperature to emit heat from within a canister. This contraption will also keep air from getting into the chamber where the substance is being vaporized.
Considering that a smokeable Android smartphone - the Jupiter IO 3, has already been made, Apple might have the chops to come up with an iPhone variant that has its own vape extension, according to Tech Times. Still, it might take longer to find out what Apple’s plans are regarding this vape patent.
The notion that Apple might come up with such product might be considered as a tacky move by its patrons. After all, releasing a proprietary vape is relatively atypical of the company’s tech portfolio.
Furthermore, the patent had outlined a step-by-step process for the device’s vaporizing process. However, the patent did not give any specific details regarding the substance that it was designed to be used for.
Today, vaporizers are also being used in agriculture and health care. That said, if it is eventually confirmed that Apple is making some kind of vaping device, there is a possibility that it the company has its sights set on a venture beyond personal use, and merely consumer-focused.
At this point, this new contraption can turn out to be anything. Some news sources have speculated that it will be an air freshener. This theory would have made more sense if Apple decided to push through with its earlier plans to make a self-driving car.
