The "Elder Scrolls" game franchise is apparently one of the longest running and most successful ones ever given that Bethesda has already launched five installments in the franchise. Though its fans' series are happy, they have been allegedly wondering and waiting about when would be the release of "Elder Scrolls 6". According to Bethesda's Pete Hines, it will not be going to be anytime soon.
Apparently, it would have been six years since "Skyrim" was originally launched for PS3, Xbox 360and PC. It is also considered as one of the most successful RPG-themed games on those aforementioned consoles. The game is being played up until now, especially since Bethesda has launched its remastered rendition the previous year.
However, though the fans of the series and the game are happy, the question that sits in everyone's mind as of the moment is when they would hear about "Elder Scrolls 6". Unfortunately, it has been apparently answered by Hines via tweet.
According to him, it will be in many years before Bethesda will be talking about it. More so, another fan told him that he is confident they would be hearing about the next "Elder Scrolls" title at E3 this 2017. However, Hines once again said, "it would be in many years", before such thing happens and "it is just the truth", GamingBolt reported.
According to Neurogadget, Bethesda is apparently not focusing on the "Elder Scrolls 6" due to the fact that they have been working on other projects, which are allegedly being developed as of the moment. The report claims that since VR market is booming, Bethesda is apparently working to capitalize on creating a full VR edition of "Fallout 4".
Moreover, the report says that the "Elder Scrolls 6" is being pushed back since the developers want to alter things and apparently implement a new technology in the said game. But the said new technology is not available yet.
Reports have concluded that "Elder Scrolls" fans have to wait for a couple of years before getting a hand on "Elder Scrolls 6".
