Like Capcom's other "Resident Evil" games, players can unlock two different endings in "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard." Unlocking either ending requires gamers to make an important choice near the climax of the horror survival game.

According to GameRant, unlocking both endings will unlock two different trophies. Gamers are advised to make a save during a specific section in the game to save time. Simply reload the game after getting one ending to unlock the other instead of replaying the game twice.

Take note that you can access a save room right before you get to the Boat House area. Save here before continuing the story. Before you leave the save room, make sure you have enough healing items and ammo as you will face Jack Baker once more in a boss fight

After you defeat Jack Baker, you will receive the serum that can cure the family. However, you only get one dose so you need to decide who to save: Mia Winters or Zoe Baker. Choosing one over the other will unlock a different ending.

To receive the Good Ending, save Mia. Once you save Mia, you will then find yourself in a large shipwreck. You are free to do as wish after this point and it won't change the ending you will receive. Ending 1 will also give players the "End of the Night" achievement/trophy, per GameNGuide.

As Mia and Ethan are reunited on the ship, the former can save the latter as well. In Mia's ending, she survives her ordeal at the dangerous Baker House. As she and Ethan escape, Mia also receives medical treatment onboard the escape helicopter.

Choosing to save Zoe will unlock the Bad Ending, which will also unlock the achievement/trophy "Just A Memory Now." After receiving the first ending, reload your save right before the Boat House section. You can also opt to start over and continue playing the game right up to when you decide who to give the serum to. Not much changes gameplay-wise

However, choosing to save Zoe means you will end up fighting Mia. In Zoe's ending, she and Ethan escape in the helicopter. Ethan will lament the fact that after all that happened, he was not able to save his wife.
