An iOS 10.3 beta version has provided Apple users a sneak peak on what to expect for the next operating system update. Many are already excited with the features teased for this iOS upgrade.

Apple ID profile

According to AppAdvice, the iOS 10.3 comes with a new Apple ID profile which can be found on the Setting application of iPhones and iPads. From the Settings tab, users can see the security settings, payment info and other contact information.

The page for the Apple ID Profile also reveals what devices utilize the user's Apple ID including the model, serial number and even version of the operating system. This will also be useful for Apple Pay customers since details for the feature are also included.

Other uses

Also, the iOS 10.3 update allows iPhone and iPad owners to monitor their iCloud storage. They can also manage their storage capacity to accommodate more photos, videos and other needed items.

Finding missing AirPods

Aside from this new Apple ID Profile, CIO noted that there is also a tool to aid users to find or locate their Apple AirPods, the wireless earphones recently introduced by Apple. This will allow owners of the AirPods to track their wireless device in case it goes missing.

To be able to do this, users would need to open their Find My iPhone application then play a music on their AirPod. They would be able to hear the sound of their device and easily locate it.

How to locate?

However, CIO explains that the wireless earphones should be within the Bluetooth range of the iPad or the iPhone. If it is not or has drained power, owners can still track through the Find My iPhone app the last "known location" of the device.

The official version of the iOS 10.3 is set to be released this March 21. What other useful features do you want for the next OS update?
