The original speculation for the Samsung Galaxy S8 release date pointed to April 15, 2017. However, consumers who have been patiently waiting for the phone to drop could be in for a treat.

Reports are coming in announcing the unveil date for both variants of the Samsung Galaxy S8 to be March 29. The flagship smartphone comes in two sizes, 5.8-inches and 6.2-inches and will supposedly go on sale almost a month after the reveal on April 21. 

The South Korean tech giant is prepared to ship 60 million devices or so, reports say. This proves that they're confident the Galaxy S8 will be another big hit.

Wireless, Noise-Cancelling Earphones Prepped for Simultaneous Launch. According to Gadgets 360, the Samsung Galaxy S8 may not be the only hardware Samsung will be unveiling this March 29. Sources have reported that the company is also preparing to reveal its new wireless, noise-cancelling headphones alongside the flagship phone.

Express UK points at serial leaker Evan Blass for the leaked Samsung Galaxy S8 release dat. But the wireless headphones tip this time comes from Roland Quandt of winfuture.de.

According to Gadgets 360, he's been on a bit of a spree lately regarding highly-anticipated hardware. In his tweet, Quandt wrote that the Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) headphones "are coming with the Samsung Galaxy S8." He also lists the price at EUR 130, which is about USD $140.

More Details, Speculations for Galaxy S8. The most recent reports regarding the Galaxy S8 comes from GSM Arena. It's stating that the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will have bigger batteries than the S7 duo. 

Speculations point at a 3250mAh battery for the Galaxy S8 and a 3750mAh for the S8 Plus. Other older speculations regarding the features suggest 4GB of RAM with 64GB internal storage, 12MP rear camera and 8MP front-facing camera and a no-bezel "infinity screen."

The Samsung Galaxy S8 release date is slated for March 29 this year and will later go on sale April 21. Current retail price is rumored to start upwards of USD $849.
