Funcom recently released a brand new trailer for "Conan Exiles" and launched a new official site.Most importantly, the company reached a milestone in the development of "Conan Exiles" with today's launch of the Steam Early Access.

"Conan Exiles," Funcom's latest open-world survival game, is out now on Steam's Early Access platform. The game now has an Early Access launch trailer, which has a great number of deaths, decapitations and a few of those towering Avatar god monsters Funcom mentioned in December 2016. In addition, there are a few beefy lads covered with loincloths.

While "Conan Exiles" is already live with multiple features, the team has also gone further into detail on the additions fans can expect over the next 12 months. On the "Conan Exiles" Twitter page, the team drip-fed fans with information about the new features. These include building siege weapons, mastering the dark arts of sorcery, taming mounts and expanded religion and thrall systems.

"Conan Exiles" Features

The game will include Mounts and Taming later in Early Access. Mounts will function as a method of transportation. There is also a plan to add mounted combat; but. according to Funcom, they will not implement war mounts in "Conan Exiles" that fight for you. In addition, there will be an expanded religion system. Doctrines will be expanded and require players to act in a certain way for a set time to gain favor from the player's god.

Siege weapons will also be incorporated as the team is working on implementing trebuchet in "Conan Exiles' soon. With the trebuchet, players are allowed to attack other player's fortifications using massive rocks.

Apart from that, players will also shoot rotting corpses with the trebuchet in "Conan Exiles." Moreover, later in Early access, clothes customization will be integrated. The team wanted the players to express themselves through the clothes worn by their respective exiles. There are plans of incorporating a system where players can dye and customize their clothes.

There will also be an expanded thrall system, Biomes later in "Conan Exiles" early access. Hit Box damage and sorcery system will be enhanced, as well.
