Minecraft Patch 1.41 Now Available For PlayStation 4, Xbox One & Xbox 360; Fixes Lighting, Gold Nugget, Ocelot Issues & More
Van DJust recently, "Minecraft" for Xbox One was released in Japan. Now, the"Minecraft" update 1.41 for PlayStation 4 has become available, providing a number of fixes for various issues.
According to PSU, the new "Minecraft" update brought a number of fixes and new trophies for Survival and Tumble. The update also included the Villains Skin Pack trial.
The fixes in the "Minecraft" update addressed Slab blocks that did not block light, Blazes that did not drop Glowstone Dust, Zombie Pigmen that did not drop gold ingots and Chickens that did not drop cooked chicken after dying on fire. Fixes for Dead Bushes that did not drop sticks, Wither Skeletons that could walk through two block high spaces and some broken End Gateways were also provided.
More fixes provided by the "Minecraft" Update 1.41 addressed incorrect lighting in the place where a player spawns. It also looked into horses that did not jump to the correct height and incorrect tooltips when using various items.
PlayStation Lifestyle writes that the latest "Minecraft" patch provided a fix where playing the tutorial will reset the chests, a fix for the drop rate of Gold Nuggets and crashing after spawning several Shulkers. Fixes for tamed Ocelots staying hostile after being tamed, Enderman not receiving damage from rain while in a boat and lighting issues when digging in the spawn area were also added.
The "Minecraft" update improved the framerate when throwing several Lingering Potions. It also adjusted Battle Mini Game maps to close off areas that are supposed to be inaccessible.
More fixes in "Minecraft" involved the Record name getting lost after being in a Jukebox, the Mob Spawner error, a crash when putting a Sign over Tall Grass, Hoppers failing to gather items over them and save upload failing. Adjustments were introduced to a mob spawner particle and sound effect.
"Minecraft" Update 1.41 is currently live on Xbox One and Xbox 360. The Villains Spin pack is currently available at $1.99, featuring 17 skins inspired by the most evil things in "Minecraft." More updates and details on the game are expected soon.
