'Galactic Civilizations 3' Expands, Espionage And Other New Systems Added
Rommel"Galactic Civilizations 3" Crusade expansion, described as the biggest one for the game to date, provides some of fans' expected additions namely, new playable civilizations, and a new campaign, as well as introducing novel features such as an espionage system. Through this feature, players can train spies that can be dispatched to annihilate enemy camps and improvements, steal enemy technology, and/or provide defense against rival spies and spy agencies among others.
As citizens in the "Galactic Civilizations" universe, players can train to become spies as one of the several choices they can make while playing the game. Doing so are, as quoted from the official website of "Galactic Civilizations 3," "created every several turns and can be specialized by the player into numerous specializations to help boost their civilization globally or to enhance a specific planet." Some of the other possible roles that players can play include admiral, celebrity, engineer, and pioneer among others.
Another novel feature that fans have to expect is the ability to participate in invasions of other planets while engaged in cosmic battles. Here, players who are on attack mode have the choice which to begin their attack at. On the other hand, those who are on defense mode of "Galactic Civilizations 3" can, likewise, choose which place in which to guard. These choices are given to players in order to develop in them critical thinking as such acts required a considerable amount of strategic thinking.
The ability to build civilizations by players allows them to create their own customized civilizations. The game equips them with choices which span from leader, ideology, abilities, dialogue, and units. In order to engage other players in the community, the game also allows these civilizations to be shared online via the Steam Workshop.
Inclusive in the "Galactic Civilizations 3" newest expansion are UI improvements, a reworked tech tree, an expanded economic system, and updates that relate to graphic engine among several others. This expansion is set for launch soon and will cost $20.00.
