'Nintendo Switch' Pre-order Stocks Update: Best Buy Opens Online Orders Sold Out Instantly
Staff Reporter"Nintendo Switch" pre-orders suddenly came up at Best Buy today, but after just a few minutes, it got sold out again. All the available gadgets for sale, whether it is the gray or the neon red/neon blue versions, all of those listed on the Best Buy website were wiped out right away once the pre-orders went live again.
However, "Nintendo Switch" accessories are still available. Aside from the device, Best Buy also offers Joy-con controllers, Joy-con charging grip, Pro wireless controller and others. Experts, however, are still in the limbo whether to pre-order the newest Nintendo gadget. But still, demand for it is definitely outpacing their production, speaking of pre-orders alone.
Meanwhile, the online service for "Nintendo Switch" announced that an annual fee will be imposed in Japan for around $30. This is relatively cheaper if to be compared to the PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live both of which offering an annual subscription for $60. Pricing may vary per region, especially in North America.
The newest gaming console will also be present in one of the most important events of the world, the commercials for Superbowl 2017. According to reports, the ad will be played on February 5th, which will feature Imagine Dragons' latest song "Believer" and "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild."
This was confirmed by Nicolas Chavez who said that the most sought after video game system will be part of the biggest stage this year, along with the video game of the year. It is eyed for "Nintendo Switch" to change when and where people play games and we will see if that will come true. Hopefully, their supplies will fill the demand.
Also, more and more games compatible to the "Nintendo Switch: will be announced in the latter months. While it is still uncertain when new pre-order stocks will be up again, if this snap pre-order is any indication, it seems like a couple more pre-orders will happen before Switch is finally out in March.
