Yalu iOS 10.1.1 Jailbreak For iPhone 7 & iPhone 7 Plus Will Be Added, But How Soon?
S. TurlaApple users could soon be able to jailbreak iOS 10.1.1 on the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus. Yalu iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak will allegedly add support for both devices "in the future."
According to WCCFTech, the Yalu jailbreak is still in beta 7 and supports Apple's iOS 10.2 firmware. This version of Yalu also added support for a "wide variety of devices such as the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE, and more." However, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus were still not included in the list of supported devices.
Luca Todesco, the developer behind the jailbreak, did confirm that support for Apple's latest flagship handsets soon be available. However, the jailbreak will be supported on iOS 10.1.1 and not iOS 10.2. Todesco tweeted, "To clear it up: Yalu1011 for iPhone 7 will be updated at some point. Just not a priority right now. Got stuff to do."

Users must keep in mind that the Yalu jailbreak is "semi-untethered is nature." Apple users must jailbreak their device "every single time if it restarts." Apple has also "stopped signing iOS 10.2," so if users are still using iOS 10.2.1 and want to downgrade to jailbreak their device, it is now impossible since "the firmware signing window has been closed."
If users are still "sitting on iOS 10.2," it is highly suggested that "you go ahead and save your device's SHSH2 blobs first." Doing this will, at some point in the future, make sure that "unsigned firmware downgrades when needed."
iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus users must not carelessly attempt to jailbreak their devices. It is better to wait for the updated version of Yalu which will come with support for the two devices.
Per Tech Times, iOS 10 has been a "tough nut to crack for jailbreakers. Eager users are also looking forward to the latest update from Pangu, a group made up of Chinese hackers.
Pangu has also delayed the release of their iOS 10 jailbreak and they haven't announced anything in the past few months, which could be due to Apple's recent security patches. The Chinese group could be biding its time until a more stable iOS is released before it attempts to create another Yalu jailbreak.
