"Prison Break" Season 5 new trailer was released following the announcement of its official air date a few weeks ago. Fans are now left to wait until Spring comes to see the new episodes that will highlight the adventures of Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows who are portrayed by Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell, respectively.

"Prison Break" Season 5 new trailer teased Lincoln's escape plan to help Michael out of prison. It revealed a few shots inside the prison cell and some action-packed encounters. What's more exciting is Sara Tancredi's (Sarah Wayne Callies) conversation with her son where she referred to Michael as a storm and left a hanging question.

In "Prison Break" Season 5 new trailer, Michael's son with Sara asked whether storms can come back to which Sara replied, "Question is if they come back, is it the same storm?." Does this mean that fans might see a different version of Michael if ever he comes home to his family on "Prison Break" Season 5? Will it be a better Michael or worse than he left?

"Prison Break" Season 5 promises a lot of excitement and cliffhangers and even actor Purcell claimed that it's better than the original according to a report by Digital Spy. Speaking of the man behind Lincoln's character, the actor also revealed that Netflix helped bring back the interest of viewers on "Prison Break" as reported by TV Guide. The title is apparently one of the most viewed series on the streaming giant so thanks to Netflix for regenerating the hype!

"Prison Break" Season 5 air date is set on April 4 as confirmed by Fox. It will only have nine episodes but discussion about another season is possible especially if the series picks up high ratings and interest from viewers.
