The "Final Fantasy XV" Episode Gladiolus DLC is set to be launched on March 28. The DLC will allow players to control Gladiolus during the game and will also introduce the much awaited update for the "FFXV" Chapter 13. Aside from the Gladiolus Episode, the two other Noctis party mates are also set to have their own DLCs.

The Gladiolus Episode "Final Fantasy XV" DLC release was announced during the "FF" 30th anniversary event in Tokyo. Though the Prompto DLC has also been unveiled, no specific release date has been given for the next "FFXV" character DLC.

During the "Final Fantasy" 30th Anniversary event, the only information revealed for the second "FFXV" Character episode is that the Prompto DLC release date will be June 2017. Notably, Square Enix did not release any detail for the "Final Fantasy 15" Ignis DLC.

Speaking with DualShockers, "Final Fantasy XV" video game director Hajime Tabata revealed the reason why his team chose to release the Gladiolus Episode first and opted to put the Ignis DLC release date at last. According to Tabata, the team has already planned to release Episode Gadio "Final Fantasy XV" as the first DLC. This was because an enhanced action battle gameplay was intended to be delivered with the DLC.

The second DLC has been debated on whether Prompto or Ignis should follow Gladio. The team opted to set the "Final Fantasy XV" Episode Prompto release date in June and launch the Episode Ignis DLC at the last.

Tabata revealed that the choice to put Ignis' DLC last was prompted by the fact that the occurrences in the episode will have a huge impact in the general story line of the hit RPG. He also said that the team wants to take its time to develop the "Final Fantasy XV" Episode Ignis DLC to create a really solid experience for the player.
