'The OA' Part II Renewal Update: Supernatural Thriller Gets Netflix Go Signal

"The OA" is one of the Netflix shows a lot of people are on the fence with. But with curiosity and interest were drawn into the supernatural thriller series, it seems like Netflix did not bat an eye in giving it another chance for a second season.

"The OA" makers of the show promises more people will be fanning out their hands together to breathe out frightful whoosh as new season will be coming to Netflix this year. The second season of the show is currently dubbed as "Part II" - what it means and how important it is with the plot of the new edition, fans are in for a big surprise for sure.

"The OA" was released mid-December of 2016 featuring Brit Marling who played the role of Prairie Johnson, a nice, young lady who comes back to her adoptive parents after she vanished for several years. She was once blind but that is not the only thing that provides mystery in this supernatural thriller, it is the aspect of how she spent her time while she was missing that makes people curious.

In its first season of "The OA," the 8-episode thriller series featured some worthy actors such as "The Walking Dead" star Scott Wilson and "Tyrant" actress Alice Krige, who played the role of Prairie's parents. Other key characters in the life of Prairie Johnson were played by phenomenal actors such as Patrick Gibson, "Smash" actress Emory Cohen, "The Office" star Phyllis Smith and "Awake" actor Jason Isaacs.
