The final downloadable content (DLC) for Bandai Namco's hit role-playing video game, "Dark Souls 3" is slated to arrive in March bearing "The Ringed City" moniker. However, fans have already got a brief glimpse of what it has to offer thanks to some previously surfaced screenshots. Now, adding more frenzy to the hype surrounding the upcoming content, Bandai Namco has released a short gameplay.

The 4 minutes 20 seconds video footage kicks off with a warning that indicates the gameplay video may contain spoilers about "The Ringed City" DLC. The upcoming downloadable content comprises brand new adventures set in never-before-explored areas. Players are expected to ferret out the Ringed City.

The DLC also brings in a bunch of bosses and enemies to lock horns with. Moreover, it adds a slew of new armaments and armor sets to players' arsenal, new spells, and new PvP maps, according to PlayStationLifestyle. Players are likely to bump into ancient beasts, a new cast of characters, magic and of course a city that has been hidden for a long time filled with challenges for players to triumph over.

The previously released screenshots already gave players a peek at some of the new areas, adversaries, bosses, weapons, and armor sets they will have access to in The Ringed City. But that's not all; the new DLC also boasts enhanced matchmaking for both co-ops as well as PvP.

However, players should bear in mind that the new PvP maps will be up for grabs for those who have either or both The Ringed City and/or "Dark Soul 3's" previous content dubbed, "Ashes of Andariel." Furthermore, this DLC pits players against Slave Knight Gael who is bent on finding Dark Soul of Humanity, according to the game's official website.

"Dark Souls 3: The Ringed City" will be available for download on PS4, Xbox One and PC via Steam on March 28, 2017.
