'Death Stranding' Latest Details: Mads Mikkelsen Spills Development Update & What It's Like Working With Hideo Kojima
JEVHideo Kojima's masterpiece title "Death Stranding" is well underway and aficionados seem pretty excited how it will pan out when it hits PS4 consoles in 2019. This early, the upcoming open world action game is making noise with its stellar cast.
"The Walking Dead" star Norman Reedus as main protagonist is joined by versatile actor Mads Mikkelsen and highly acclaimed movie director Guillermo Del Toro. Now to tease fans even more, fan are offered a peek into the development and production of "Death Stranding".
The "Star Wars: Rogue One" actor recently graced the semi-regular talk show, HideoTube, with hosts, Kojima himself and Kenji Yano. Mikkelsen talked about his involvement in the creation of Kojima's first ever title under the belt of Kojima Productions.
First off, he talked about working as an actor outside a set-up he used to have around while shooting films like "Doctor Strange". Despite the fact that he previously experienced being scanned for big 3D movies, he shared his amazement on how exactly the game creator builds everything else all left in the imagination. He added that he finds its a lot interesting to work without a set and all that.
Kojima also tackled about how Mikkelsen, at times, did things differently as opposed to the instruction he gave him. However, surprisingly it turned out to be something good, as reported by Games Radar.
In more news, Hideo Kojima recently straightened out what "Death Stranding" really is. What most if not all gamers think of it is it's a horror game based on the teasers. But the game creator said that wouldn't be the case.
He mentioned that he specifically doesn't have that dark mindset and he just aimed to deliver that is totally unique, Glixel reported. Kojima also teased that fans will enjoy humor as one of the interesting aspects of the game at only the right amount.
"Death Stranding" is currently in early stage of production as a PS4 exclusive title. It is open world action video game that could possibly release in 2019.
